MicroCredentials at Illinois is a platform that provides learners with a focused and shareable credential that showcases mastery in certain skills and technology. When a student demonstrates their ability to master a set of professional skills they are issued a “microcredential” that verifies and recognizes their achievement. Through the native integration with LinkedIn, learners can add and display their credentials to their professional profiles, as well as other social media platforms.
